This is so true, Jen! I've also been sitting with the changes we see in the coaching world. What's been fascinating for me to see is that the push to constantly increase prices (and to see a high price as a confirmation of competence) seems to have decreased.
For instance, I can think of a few people who have either switched to sliding scale models or who have decreased their prices or introduce lower-priced offerings. From what I can see, they are not doing this from a lack of trust in the value they deliver, and more from a desire to be in alignment.
Beautiful exploration! I'm here for it and would love to read more.
Hi Louise! Thank you so much for your thoughtful response. I agree with you - I've also been seeing a trend of sliding scale models and a decrease in some pricing. Maybe it will start to correct - however, I also note that in order to offer lower pricing and sliding scale, it helps to have a large audience and / or still offer a high ticket product, to earn a living without burning out. Those of us with smaller audiences are going to have a harder time competing with the lower options the coaches with larger audiences can offer. Not saying it's impossible, but a lot of things need to line up to run a successful coaching practice, sustainably.
Yes. I had a recent awareness that my desire is for connection and to be a positive support. I help people shift their energy and they take it from there, I am a part of their team. I love what you’re discussing.
I feel the same way. I've been fortunate to have a great team around me for my healing adventures - mentors, teachers, guides of all kinds, and kindred spirits. Like you, I'm at a point in my journey where I'm very called to connection - it took a lot of healing to get there! xo Thanks for sharing.
Yes to this!

Thank you Stacy! Thank you for reading and sharing your experience. When you say part of their team are you referring to their spiritual team?
I think of our teams are the people we choose as our helpers, mentors, and companions for our health (in the various areas) and growth.
